Sire:
MBISS Am Can Ch Mariza Brother Karamazov "Mitzka"
(BOS All-Breed 2002, multiple Group winner, multiple group placer,
2004 PSBC BISS, 2002 PSBC BISS, 2002 BCOC BISS, 2001 BCOC BOS, 2000 BCOA
AOM)

Dam:
Brusnichka Nevskaia "Bruska"(Russian Import)

When we were planning this breeding, we wanted to blend the generations
of Russian-bred field-titled Borzoi with the unmistakable ring elegance
possessed by Mitzka. We were hoping to get such fine details as good
pigment, small high-set ears, and tight feet. Both parents had great
tail carriage, too. After doing some extensive pedigree research, we found
that some important producers appear more than once on both the Russian
and the American sides of the puppies' pedigree way far back. These
producers are: Eng Fin Ch Keeper's Michaelangelo, Int Ch Polongai Porchai
Krasnoje Selo (Holland), Gotz v Silberhof (Germany), as well the
littermates Xantoff Wergei and Xakor Wergei (Germany). We feel that the two puppies resulting
from this breeding inherited all the best qualities from their parents and
this outcross worked well for us. The two resulting puppies with this
colorful pedegree have
confident personalities, and are full of energy! Please meet them:

Am Can Ch Zabava Winter Palace, C.G.C. "Roosik"
Roosik stayed at Zabava. His accomplishments included Best Senior
Dog in Futurity at the 2000 National Specialty (pictured with judge K.C.
Artley), a Group win from the classes (judge Mary Ellen Compagnon), and
1st in Open at the 2001 Borzoi Club of Northern California fall specialty
(judge Jon Cole). Roosik was a multiple BOB winner in very limited
showing. Roosik was also obedience-trained through CDX.
At the 2004 Centennial National Specialty Show, Roosik was awarded an
Award of Merit (180 champions entered, 600 total entries)!!!
Roosik produced two beautiful litters.(See
B Litter
and
S Litter). He had what Russian
breeders of the old times called brilliance, or what we call now pizzaz,
and he passed it to every single one of his children. Roosik passed
away at nearly 12 years of age, for a 35" giant male, a very respectable
age. Frozen semen available to approved bitches.

SBOS Am Can Ch Zabava Winter Berry, J.C. ROMX-C "Two-Tochka"
Tutta's accomplishments included 1st in her Futurity Class at the 2000
National specialty, 2nd in Open at the Borzoi Club of Northern California
(the day after the National), and a superb litter whelped in July of 2002
(See M Litter), for which she earned the Pedigree #1 Producer Award in
2004 and gained her ROM-C title. Tutta had about 40 ASFA points, too. From
her first litter of seven, born on 07/11/2002, all finished in the United
States, four are Canadian champions, and one finished in Japan (see
M Litter).
Her second litter was also beautiful, it was whelped in April 2006 (see
T Litter),
so far, three have finished their AKC titles, bringing their dam her ROMX-C
title, and two more are in the rings. Tutta was SBOS from the 10+ Veteran Bitch Class.
Tutta left us at 12.5 years of age, and our place will never be the same
without her.
